role: TALENT MANAGER
LOCATION: REMOTE
We’re looking for a driven, creative, confident, negotiation-savvy, relationship-focused individual to join our team as a talent manager. At peak, you’re an exceptionally organized problem solver, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, who pays attention to the details and listens when it counts. You’re an expert in all things influencer and/or athlete marketing, you have an innate drive to close deals, and you have a distinct point of view in this field. Above all, you have a passion for helping others achieve their dreams, and you know what it takes to move the needle.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST: 3+ years as a talent manager, agent, or agent assistant/talent coordinator.
Thorough understanding of the influencer and athlete marketing space, from both the brand and talent perspectives.
Strong connections in the space, including decision makers at brands and agencies.
Ability to craft, negotiate, and redline deal memos and contracts between talent and brands.
Strong understanding of licensing deals.
Excellent writing skills.
Exceptional communication/organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus: experience with building businesses, vendor sourcing, and go-to market strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Generally: support the talent team and its represented talent.
Field incoming opportunities for talent.
Craft stories and pitches for talent partnerships.
Contract negotiation/redlining of agreements.
Create wrap-up reports on success of partnerships with brands.
Track deliverables for campaigns, including content, invoices, and reporting elements.
Assist talent in the execution of campaigns (creative direction, shot lists, scripts, locations, etc.).
Ensure timely payment of talent by brands.
Update talent media kits to ensure accurate information.
Create pitch decks for campaigns.
Provide actionable advice to talent in order to optimize their platforms for brand pitching.
Provide a 360 degree approach to career and brand-building, helping our clients build their businesses both online and in real life by diversifying income streams.
Travel: yes, roughly 2-3 times a quarter for various client production days, events, appearances, tapings, etc.

We’re looking for a creative, hyper-organized, multi-tasking professional to join our team as a talent coordinator. Your organization skills are second to none, and you have experience running multiple projects at once. You’re able to switch hats from account to account without missing a beat. You have a thorough understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and the terminology that comes with it. And, you enjoy being a part of a team to bring deals from concept through the finish line. At SMITH&SAINT, our talent coordinators are the heart of each account, and are not only involved in the administration side, but also the creative and concepting side of deals.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST: 1+ year as a project manager, talent coordinator, agent assistant, or relevant experience.
Excellent writing skills.
Exceptional communication/organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and switch from account to account with ease.
Thorough understanding of the influencer and athlete marketing space, from both the brand and talent perspectives.
Thorough understanding of influencer marketing terminology and the complete deal lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In general, to assist the talent management team in securing brand partnerships for managed talent, and to support the execution of those partnerships from start to finish.
Creation of partnership timelines to ensure timely tracking against deliverables and key dates.
Creation of internal briefs for talent, including ideation of creative treatment for campaigns, writing talent scripts, and writing proposed copy for submission to brands and agency partners.
Liaising with talent to determine concepts, submission dates, go-live dates, and ensuring talent has a full understanding of the brief and any call-outs.
Organization of campaign assets for delivery to brand and agency partners within Google Drive.
Liaising with talent and brand/agency partners to communicate any edits in content.
Posting of sponsored content on behalf of clients (where applicable).
Submission of live links of sponsored content to brand and agency partners.
Collection and submission of analytics of sponsored content to brand and agency partners.
Submission of client invoices to brands and follow-up to ensure timely payment to clients.
Pitch partnerships for talent, and continuous follow-up on pitches.
Maintenance of monday.com boards (both internal and talent-facing).
Maintenance of talent media kits.
Coordination of schedules for any travel required for partnerships, including building out detailed run of show documents
Manage SMITH&SAINT social accounts (including, but not limited to, responding to DMs and comments, reposting talent campaigns to IG Stories, working with the social team to develop weekly/monthly content, posting content to social platforms, etc.) and contribute to SMITH&SAINT’s social media marketing efforts.
Reporting to: the Talent Managers on each team you are a part of; the CEO and COO.
Travel: yes; roughly 2-3 times per quarter for various client production days, events, appearances, tapings, etc.
